Chantel Riley as Ebony James

Actress, Singer & Songwriter

Known for her lead role as “Trudy Clarke” in the Canadian hit series Frankie Drake Mysteries and currently the voice of “Lucy Santana” in Daniel Spellbound, Chantel kicked off her career in a German legit production of Disney’s The Lion King only to learn the whole musical in English one year later for her run on Broadway. Once in New York, new opportunities arose, including the role of “Quincella Nickerson” in the Jesse Owens biopic Race. A recurring role on the SyFy series Wynonna Earp and “Layla Hassan” in the video game Assassin’s Creed Origins followed. Her EP, I Am, was released in 2021, and she stars in her most recent film, Colorblind, which is out this year.

Oliver Samuels as Desmond James

Actor, Comedian & Writer

Oliver Samuels is a renowned Jamaican actor, comedian, and playwright, celebrated for his significant contributions to Caribbean theatre. Known as the "King of Comedy" in Jamaica, his career spans over four decades, during which he has captivated audiences with his humor and relatable characters. He gained widespread recognition through his television series "Oliver at Large," which became a cultural staple in Jamaica and the Caribbean diaspora. Samuels continues to inspire and entertain, leaving a lasting legacy in the performing arts.

Nancy Kenny as Jennifer Dukes

Past film credits include the Lead in a Heritage Minute on the deportation of the Acadians, principal roles in No Good Deed for the Lifetime Network, Sullivan’s Crossing for CTV/Crave, and the upcoming French sitcom En résidence for UnisTV.

Nancy has lent her multilingual skills and talents as a voice artist to various commercials, scripted radio shows, and video games - including principal roles in Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 & Warlords of New York.

Past theatre credits include Roller Derby Saved My Soul & Everybody Dies in December (Broken Turtle Productions), Mary Magdalene and Adventures in Sobriety, (Evolution Theatre), The Amorous Ambassador (Upper Canada Playhouse), Rabbit Hole (The Gladstone), and Shakespeare’s Interactive Circus (a Company of Fools).

Nancy is a member of the Canadian Actors Equity Association (CAEA), Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA), and Union des artistes (UdA).

Crystal C. Rose as Maya Fraser

DescriptioCrystal C. Rose is a Jamaican- Canadian actor. She was born in Scarborough, Ontario and from a young age, she always had a love for the stage and film. Her roots started off in directing approximately 10 years ago, where she directed her first short film and theatrical production that she took on tour to the United States. Crystal’s Theatre studies at York University led her to make the decision to pursue her passion for acting and filmmaking. Though life led her to focus on other areas during the past couple of years, it was in 2019 that she decided to follow her heart once again and continue to pursue her artistic career professionally.

During the peak of the pandemic, Crystal embarked on her directing journey and created a successful web-series called Malcolm and Monique viewed by thousands.

As a filmmaker, Crystal’s desire is to tell the stories of black and POC's communities from a Canadian standpoint and break the mold of how a BIPOC person is to be shown and represented in film/TV.n goes here

Jacqueline Greer Graham as Karen Brown

Jacqueline Greer Graham is a Canadian actress and award-winning author, originally from Montserrat, British West Indies, with a passion for storytelling through books, film, and television.

In early 2023, Jacqueline worked on the television series “See No Evil” as a police officer. A surprise opportunity to deliver a line elevated her from a background performer to an actor, prompting her to add acting classes to her studies. Later that year, she signed with a talent agent and quickly landed roles, including an interviewer in a Loran Scholar outreach video and Ms. Banks in the feature film “Fortescue,” where she also learned to canoe on set. In 2024, she tapped into her Caribbean roots to portray Janet Brown in the short film “Sugar Dumplin’.”

Jacqueline continues to hone her skills through training and coaching, embracing new and challenging roles both in front of and behind the camera. After a 35-year career in the healthcare industry, she is delighted to transition to storytelling, proudly following in the footsteps of her talented actress daughter.
